Prof. Dr. Fadime Üney Yüksektepe was born in Manisa, Salihli in 1980. After graduating from Sekine Evren Anatolian High School, she completed her undergraduate degree in Chemical Engineering at Istanbul Technical University in 2003 as not only the top of the departmant but also of the faculty. She had her MA in Industrial Engineering and her PhD in Business Management & Industrial Engineering from Koç University in 2005 and 2009, respectively.
She worked as a research assistant at Koç University between the years 2003-2009 and received a TÜBİTAK postgraduate scholarship. After finishing her doctorate program, she started to work as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Industrial Engineering at Istanbul Kültür University in 2009 and received the title of associate professor in 2014. She served as the Deputy Head of the Department of Industrial Engineering at Istanbul Kültür University between the years of 2016-2018 and the Head of the Department of Industrial Engineering between the years 2018-2022. She received the title of professor in 2020 and has been serving as the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering at Istanbul Kültür University since November 2021.
Between the years 2009 and 2022, she served as a Senate Member, University Executive Board Member, Faculty Board Member, Ethics Committee Vice President, Quality Commission Member, Quality Coordinator Assistant and Quality Unit Vice President.
She has many published articles, many papers and book chapters presented in national and international congresses. She also worked as a consultant in industrial projects and evaluator for KOSGEB and TUBITAK.
In February 2023, she took office as the Deputy Rector at Istanbul Kültür University.
