Emeritus Prof. Dr. Atilla Ertan, who has contributed to valuable research for many years at the Department of Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and Nutrition at the University of Texas McGovern Medical School, former director of the Houston Digestive Health Institute, and recognized as one of the top 10 gastroenterologists in the world, visited our university. He met with our Board of Trustees Chair Dr. Bahar Akıngüç Günver, Vice Chair Ful Akıngüç, and Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Gülce Öğrüç Ildız, along with the academics from the Faculty of Health Sciences.

The Student Dean's Office of Istanbul Kültür University (IKU) organized an "Orientation Program" from September 15-18, 2025, at the Ataköy building of the Bakırköy campus, to provide a warm welcome to the new students joining the IKU family for the 2025-2026 Academic Year, introduce the university and its staff, which will be a part of the students' lives throughout their higher education journey, and make their first days at the university inspiring and guiding.
