Eti Children's Theater met with children at Akıngüç Auditorium and Art Center for two sessions, between 12.00 and 14.30 on 26-27 January, with the play "When You Say Happiness", written and directed by Ünsal Sicilli. The play, in which Arda Çoban, Barış Dizer, Çağatay Varol, Gülşah Kağan and Nil Gül were in the cast, in an entertaining and educational way told the values one should have in order to be happy. The play was enjoyed by the children. Akıngüç Auditorium and Art Center activities will continue with the Fazıl Say concert on February 9, 2023.

A cooperation protocol was signed between Istanbul Kültür University (IKU) Technology Transfer Office (TTO) and Tunç Tesisat Mühendislik ve Mimarlık Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş. on Monday, January 16, 2023. Within the scope of the protocol signed by our Rector, our Department of Civil Engineering Vice President Assist. Prof. Edip Seçkin will develop projects in the field of steel and reinforced concrete structures.

The article titled "Real Estate 4.0 and Brand (Residential) Positioning" co-written by Master Architect Çiğdem Karabağ, a postgraduate of the Department of Architecture, and Assist. Prof.

The program of the Scientific and Artistic Activities Support (BİLSAP) Awards, granted by Istanbul Kültür University (IKU) to academics who contribute to science, education, society and art with their work, were granted to their recipients at the ceremony.

“Winterfest” New Year event was organized by Kültür Point on Thursday, 29 December 2022, in the front yard of Ataköy Campus. At the event held with the contributions of IKUVENT Club, Career Club, Dance Club, Rock'n Culture Club and Orchestra IKU, our students experienced the enthusiasm of the new year to the fullest with concerts and DJ performances. At the event, which ended with the New Year's concert of the Orchestra IKÜ, the people of Kültür spent an unforgettable evening.

The Department of Entrepreneurship students made an investment presentation simulation within the scope of the 2022-2023 Fall Semester "Entrepreneurship Workshop I" lecture. In the presentations in which Assist. Prof. Mahmut Paksoy from the Department of Business Administration, Res. Assist. Şerif Yüksel from the Department of International Trade and Finance and Res. Assist. Mustafa Bekmezci from the Department of Entrepreneurship acted as jury members, the students presented their business ideas in detail.

The Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences 2022-2023 Fall Semester Academic Board was held on Wednesday, December 28 at our Basın Ekspres Campus. After the assembly, where the faculty members, administrative stuff and studens were present, the New Year was celebrated.

A promotional concert by IKU Turkish Classical Music Chorus was staged at Akıngüç Auditorium and Art Center on Wednesday, 28 December 2022 at 19.00, under the direction of Presidential Turkish Music Voice Artist Chief Recep Alper Çevirel and accompanied by saz artists.  In the concert attended by about three hundred music lovers songs such as "I Don't Complain to Anyone", "Songs Sing About You", "Remember My Love" were performed with choirs and solos.

The Youth Office, which continues its endeavours within the body of Istanbul Kültür University, paid a visit to Zümrütevler Primary School on Tuesday, 27 December as part of its social responsibility project.

The Youth Office, which was established by Lecturer Hülya Aydın in collaboration with the Ministry of Youth and Sports, Istanbul Provincial Directorate, delivered the clothes collected as a part of the project, sponsored by Tommy Life, by the volunteers to the children in need studying at Zümrütevler Primary School.

The Department of Business Administration held a seminar titled "Six Sigma Applications in Corporate Enterprises, Customer Value and Return on Investment" at the Basın Ekspres Campus Conference Hall on Wednesday, December 21. Lean Six Sigma Black Belt ING Bank Technology and Product Manager Mutlu Emir Bilişik, who attended the event as a speaker, informed the students of the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences about lean six sigma practices and transformation studies in corporate businesses.
