IKU VOCATIONAL SCHOOL HAS BEEN GRANTED GROUND HANDLING INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL TRAINING AND CERTIFICATION AUTHORIZATION BY THE GENERAL DIRECTORATE OF CIVIL AVIATION

In the 25th year of our university, the General Directorate of Civil Aviation granted the Istanbul Kültür University Vocational School the authorization for internal and external training and certification in the field of "Ground Handling" through the trainer certificate numbered HAD-YHM 309. Within the scope of the training authorization, Vocational School Program of Aviation students will be able to take advantage of this opportunity before graduating and be exempt from the authorized training subjects when they enter the sector.

“SYSTEM LEADERSHIP IN THE FAMILY BUSINESSES” PANEL

Within the scope of the panel series organized by the collaboration of Istanbul Kültür University (IKU) and Family Businesses Entrepreneurship Research Application and Research Center (AGMER) and Managemen Consultant Association, this time the “System Management in the Family Businesses” was discussed. The event, which was organized on March 24, 2022, Thursday, online via ZOOM and YouTube platforms, drew heavy attention.

OUR WOMEN'S VOLLEYBALL TEAM MADE IT TO THE PLAY-OFFS

The group competitions organized by the Turkish University Federation in Istanbul with the participation of seventeen universities in four groups have concluded. Istanbul Kültür University Women's Volleyball Team won all three matches in group C (Acıbadem University, Boğaziçi University and Haliç University) and succeeded in qualifying for the play-offs. We congratulate our team and wish them success in the play-offs.

THE INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S DAY WAS CELEBRATED WITH THE EVENT ORGANIZED BY IKU FACULTY OF ARCHITECTURE AND ASSIAX-G100 GLOBAL DESIGN & LIFESTYLE NETWORK

With the support of Istanbul Kültür University Faculty of Architecture, an online event was organized by AssiaX-G100 Design & Lifestyle Community, in order to bring different country representatives and all the young talents on “March 8 International Women’s Day.” The main theme of the event titled “Empowering the Young Woman Talents in Design” was “sustainability, durability and biologic diversity.”

AKINGÜÇ AUDITORIUM AND ARTS CENTER, HOSTED AYÇA BİNGÖL WITH THE PLAY “BEN ANADOLU”

Fine Arts Application and Research Center brought the play titled “Ben Anadolu” staged by the master acting of Ayça Bingöl, with the art-lovers. In the play, which was in the program within the scope of “International Women’s Day”, the story of 16 different women characters who have witnessed the different ages of Anatolia is told. Student of Yıldız Kenter, Ayça Bingöl’s “Ben Anadolu” in which she did an exceptional performance, was highly applauded by the art lovers. The play, directed by Görkem Yeltan, as Baba Zula undertakes the music, met the audience on March 17 Thursday at 19.00.

BIGG MARMARA GRANT SUPPORT PROGRAM INTRODUCED TO THE FACULTY OF ECONOMICS AND ADMINISTRATIVE SCIENCES

The Individual Young Entrepreneurship (BIGG) Program, in which 200 thousand TL grant support is provided to entrepreneurs who want to realize their business idea, was introduced to the students of the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences by Marmara University Teknopark Inc. Entrepreneurship and Incorporation Specialist Doğukan Gezinti.

“TURKISH WOMEN FLYING AND FLYING AIRPLANES” INTERVIEW

In cooperation with the IKU Vocational School and the Civil Aviation Club, a conversation titled "Turkish Women Flying and Flying Airplanes" was held in two sessions on Tuesday, March 8, within the scope of "March 8, International Women's Day" and "March 7-13, International Women's Aviation Week". The first session of the event, moderated by Mere Eseoğlu and Civil Aviation Club President Adile Yusufoğlu, was hosted by writer Eriş Ülger, son of Sabiha Gökçen, the spiritual grandchild of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk.
