Architect, restorer and historian Prof. Doğan Kuban, who was awarded the title of "Honorary Doctorate" by Istanbul Kültür University on March 9, 2011, passed away on September 22, 2021. He was the Dean of ITU Faculty of Architecture between 1973-76, a member of the Executive Committee of the Aga Khan Architecture Award between 1978-83, awarded the "Architecture" award at the Presidential Culture and Art Grand Awards in 2019, International Union of Architects (UIA) 2021 "Jean Tschumi Architects" We respectfully commemorate Doğan Kuban, the winner of the "Summer Award", and express our condolences to his entire family and professional community.
