ISTANBUL KÜLTÜR UNIVERSITY BUSINESS CONTINUITY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

The efforts of our university within the scope of "Project for Structuring Business Continuity Management Systems" were initiated on January 29, 2016 by a large study group formed by Dr. Bahar Akıngüç Günver, Chairperson of the Board of Trustees. The studies were moderated by faculty member Zafer Erkoç and was structured in accordance with the requirements of Istanbul Kültür University Administrative Support Processes Business Continuity Management System, starting with the 2017-2018 Academic Year. The Business Continuity Management System was structured in an integrated manner with the ISO 9001-2015 Quality Management System, and the major, essential and subordinate processes of all Administrative Support Processes were detailed and transformed into a unified structure including all components regarding business efficiency and possible risks through a system approach. The process cards, workflow charts and task analyses belonging to all processes were activated with the corporate memory management, as well as the performance, efficiency and corrective action management, and they were included in the management process. In order to obtain the desired results, our business continuity system will be constantly enhanced and improved with the help of its capacity to apply knowledge and skills, the process for the disposal of detected discordances, constant improvement systems and sustainability, in accordance with national and international reference standards.
