Istanbul Kültür University 2024-2025 Graduation Ceremony

Dear Graduates and Graduate Relatives, 

Our Graduation Ceremonies, which you have been anticipating eagerly, will be held in four sessions on 10-11 July 2025 at Yahya Kemal Beyatlı Performing Arts Center.

CEREMONY APPLICATIONS

  • Ceremony attendance applications will be made online.
  • The names of graduates who do not apply online will not be reflected on the screen during the ceremony.
  • Deadline for application: Wednesday, 30 June 2025

Date of distribution of Cap-Academic Robe:

Distribution Dates 
Start        : Monday, June 30, 2025 
End        : Wednesday, July 09, 2025 (Until the end of working hours.) 
Working Hours        : 10.00-17.00 
Distribution Place        : Ataköy Campus B1 Floor INNside 

*Delivery will only be made during weekday working hours.
**Graduates who are unable to come to the Ataköy Campus may have their relatives collect the gown and cap on their behalf.

GOWN PAYMENT PROCESS:
The gown fee is 500 TL.

Gown fees must be paid online by following the steps in the form provided at the link: https://iku.edu.tr/cubbe

CAP PAYMENT PROCESS:
The cap fee is 150 TL.

Cap payments must be made separately at the distribution point located on Floor B1 (INNside), Ataköy Campus of Istanbul Kültür University.

Payments are accepted only by credit or debit card.

The cap belongs to the graduate and will not be refunded.

RETURN PROCESS:
Graduates who wish to return their gowns must apply to the Inventory Unit Depot between July 14 – 25, 2025.

Before returning the gown, the return form must be filled out at: https://iade.iku.edu.tr

The rental fee will be refunded to the graduate’s bank account between July 28 – August 8, 2025, after completing the return process.

 

  • Graduates must be present at the Yahya Kemal Beyatlı Performance Center no later than one hour before the scheduled ceremony time specified for their faculty or vocational school.

FOR GRADUATE RELATIVES:  

  • Guests will be allowed into the venue one hour before the ceremony begins.
  • We kindly ask all guests to follow the seating arrangement indicated by staff and information signs, and to remain within the designated areas throughout the ceremony.
  • On the day of the ceremony, the stage will be reserved exclusively for graduates and event staff.
  • For the safety of the event, please follow the instructions and guidance of security personnel at the venue entrances and exits.
  • Food and beverage needs can be met at the buffets located inside the Yahya Kemal Beyatlı Performance Center. Restrooms will remain accessible throughout the event.
  • In order to avoid technical or visual disruptions during the ceremony, we kindly request that graduates postpone photo sessions that require leaving the hall until after the cap toss.

To reach to Yahya Kemal Beyatlı Performing Arts Center, you could use;

  • HT1 K.S. Süleyman Hospital-Üçyüzlü Metro, 79G Kayaşehir-Zeytinburnu Metro and 89YB K.S.S. Hospital/Atakent-Bakırköy bus lines and get off at the Asura Square bus stop.
  • A-49 Kayabaşı Yolu-Yenibosna Metro, A-215 İstoç 8 Ada-Sefaköy Last Stop minibus lines and get off in front of the show center.

There is no parking in the ceremony area.
