The evaluations of Director Vural Çavuşoğlu, who made the first environmental-themed short film event in Turkey and held this festival for 18 years, are as follows: “The importance of such thematic festivals in the world and in our country is quite high. They contribute to film productions and original works emerge. We perform our screenings internationally. 4,500 environmental short films from 47 countries applied to this festival. We screened 22 of them. We submitted all the films that applied to our National Environmental Short Film Competition to the evaluation of the selection committee without applying a pre-selection. We could not realize our annual Public Jury application, which is appreciated by us, this year. Thank you to all the participating directors. The work of each of them is valuable to us.”

The results of the National Environment Short Film Competition organized in cooperation with Bakırköy Municipality, BASAD-Bakırköy Artists Association, Çevre Film, and Istanbul Kültür University Vocational School Program of Radio and Television Technology, which was held as part of the " 18th International Environmental Short Film Festival", and which is Turkey's first environment-themed short film event, are as follows:

NATIONAL COMPETITION

In the competition where the members of the selection committee are Lecturer Tayfun Belet (Radio and Television Technology Program & Director), Engin Çağlar (Actor), Vural Çavuşoğlu (Producer & Director), Burcu Kurtiş (Chief of the Department of Cinema-TV at Nişantaşı University), Oğuz Makal (Dean of Beykent University Faculty of Fine Arts), Selahattin Yıldız (Dogus University Faculty Member) and Galip Uyar (Author), the following films were deemed worthy of awards.

Second Prize - SON AKŞAM YEMEĞİ (Director: Selinay Güneş)

Third Prize - YANSIMA (Director: Tolga Okur)

Best Picture - AT VE UNUT(MA) (Director: Hakan Bayat)

While the winners are given a financial award of 2 thousand TL by Bakırköy Municipality, films that have a degree are given a plaque.
