“DUTCH DIARIES IN TURKEY” EXHIBITION OPENED TO VISITORS

Istanbul Kültür University Art Gallery (IKUSAG) hosted Dutch artists living in Turkey in the second exhibition of the 2021-2022 Art Season. Dutch artist Arjen Zwart's photographs from the streets of Istanbul, Jeroen Paalvast's drawings of Turkish projections, and Koenraad Marinus van Lier's oil paintings, mosaic and limestone works are at the “Dutch Diaries in Turkey” exhibition, which opened on Wednesday, November 17 at 15.00. In addition to his sculptures, there are also video works of three artists. The interview with the artists and the curator of the exhibition, Kemal Orta, before the opening of the exhibition, provided the opportunity to get to know the artists and their artistic productions closely. Our Chairman of the Board of Trustees Dr. Bahar Akıngüç Günver, Dutch Cultural Attaché David Naves and Curator Kemal Orta made the opening speeches of the exhibition. After the opening cocktail; The works in which many different artistic forms from photography to drawing, painting to sculpture and video art were used were watched with interest by art lovers. The exhibition can be visited at IKU Ataköy Campus Art Gallery within the framework of the pandemic rules until December 15, 2021.
