Roundtable Meeting: On the Negotiation Process in Cyprus 3

GPoT Center organized the third round of the second track diplomacy meetings between the Turkish Cypriot and Greek Cypriot sides, entitled as "On the Renewed Talks to Resolve the Cyprus Problem".

The meeting was held on December 15, 2008 in Nicosia with the participation of politicians, academics and civil society representatives from both sides in Cyprus.

International Conference: State, Society and Democracy in Turkey in the Era of Globalization since 1980

Global Political Trends Center organized a one day conference in partnership with the Contemporary Turkish Studies within the London School of Economics in London.

The meeting was attended by academicians and journalists from Turkey and UK. The issues discussed during the meeting included the transformation of state and society and the democratization process in Turkey between 1980 and the present.

2nd Round of the Heybeliada Talks

GPoT Center organized the second round of second track diplomacy meetings on the negotiation process in Cyprus between October 31st and November 2nd in Heybeliada.

International Workshop: 5th Forum for the Future

Parallel Civil Society Meetings within the 5th Forum for the Future was organized in Dubai between 15-18 October 2008. Civil society representatives from the Broader Middle East and North Africa (BMENA) region attended the meeting.
