    On 23 October 2019, Istanbul Kültür University-affiliated Global Political Trends Center (GPoT) and Marmara University-affiliated Research Center For International Relations (MURCIR) organized a workshop titled “Regional Studies in Turkey”.

    Istanbul Kültür University, on 24 May 2019, in cooperation with Global Political Trends Center (GPoT), History Foundation and International Relations Council (NEC) hosted the "Workshop on International Relations in its 100th Anniversary".

  • Roundtable Meeting on Turkish Foreign Policy and Syria - August 8, 2019

    8 Ağustos 2019 tarihinde İstanbul Kültür Üniversitesi Ataköy yerleşkesinde GPoT stajyerleri ve araştırmacılarının da katıldığı "Türk Dış Politikası ve Suriye" konulu yuvarlak masa toplantısı düzenlendi. GPoT Birim Başkanı Prof. Dr. Mensur Akgün moderatörlüğünde gerçekleştirilen toplantıya GPoT araştırmacılarından Yasin Küçükkaya ve Emekli Büyükelçi Dr. Oğuz Çelikkol Türkiye açısından Suriye’deki mevcut gelişmelerin yaratabileceği fırsat ve zorlukları ele aldılar. ABD ile Türkiye arasında devam eden güvenli bölge tartışmaları ve İdlib’deki durum toplantının ana gündemini oluşturmaktaydı.

  • Meeting with the International Relations Society of the LSE Student Delegation - April 4, 2019

    Global Political Trends Center (GPoT) hosted the International Relations Society of the London School of Economics (LSE) on April 4, 2019. With honorable Ambassador Oğuz Çelikkol, whom outlined the main priorities on Turkish foreign policy as well as shared his diplomatic experiences in the field. Amb. Çelikkol also answered the questions of the students about Turkey and its future. The meeting has gathered the students of LSE with our International Relations students.
