    "A serious security problem occurred in the Middle East after the so-called Arab Spring," Turkey's Anadolu News Agency quoted Ozcan as saying. "We see that what binds Israel and Turkey is this security problem."

    GPoT Center's Muhammed Ammash commented on the recent Israel-Turkey deal for Spanish news agency. 

    "Turquía se ve todavía como un potente actor en la región y para Israel sigue siendo un importante aliado musulmán", evalúa Muhammed Ammash, experto del centro de análisis turco GPOT. Pero la buena relación con Israel también permitirá a Ankara volver a ejercer de mediador, lo que podría ser beneficioso para el pueblo palestino en su conjunto, opina Ammash. "Van a necesitar tiempo para digerirlo (el pacto)", estima Ammash en declaraciones a Efe en Estambul.

Per exemple, fer de mediador entre grups rivals a palestina, contribuint a reviure el procés de pau israelià-palestí", explica a l’ARA en Muhammed Ammash, expert en relacions bilaterals Turquia-Israel al Centre turc de Tendències Polítiques Globals (GPOT). "Crec que Israel és conscient que Turquia encara té una imatge significativa a ulls de les poblacions àrabs i musulmanes al Pròxim Orient", afegeix.
