The finalists and event program for the 7th SineKültür Interuniversity Short Film Festival, organized this year by the Department of Radio, Television and Cinema, have been announced. Following the preliminary jury evaluation, a total of 12 films—across documentary and fiction categories—have been selected as finalists. The festival will take place between May 6–8, 2026 at the Ataköy building of the Bakırköy Campus. The festival program will kick off on Wednesday, May 6, 2026 with the “Film Production Workshop,” led by producer and screenwriter Orhan Koçak (SETEM), from 10:00 to 12:00. On the same day, between 14:00 and 16:00, the “Blackmagic Camera App Workshop” will be conducted by Blackmagic Design Camera Specialist Oğulcan Ekiz (Mediacast Türkiye). Screenings of the finalist films will be held on Thursday, May 7, 2026. Documentary finalists will be shown between 10:30–12:30, followed by fiction finalists between 13:30–15:30. The festival will conclude on Friday, May 8, 2026 with an awards ceremony held between 14:00–15:00 at the Prof. Dr. Önder Öztunalı Conference Hall, following a cocktail reception from 13:00 to 13:45. During the ceremony, the films selected for awards by the jury will be announced. Fiction Category Finalists: “Hatırlayabildiğim Kadarıyla” (Dir. Ömer Nusret Tanır, Azmican Zengin), “Seni Görebilecek miyim Anne?” (Dir. Hasan Hüseyin Korkmaz), “Everett Yorumu” (Dir. Orçun Poyraz), “Gorgon” (Dir. Derin Doğa Kokal), “Kudret” (Dir. Mehmet Oğuz Yıldırım), and “101” (Dir. Yusuf Tağ). Documentary Category Finalists: “Ateşten Gömlek” (Dir. Şeref Akçay), “Baş Aşağı” (Dir. Cemal Karaaslan), “Bozkırda Bir Aydın” (Dir. Osman Çakır – Ali Kaymak), “Kintsugi Sanatı” (Dir. Sevinç Aydoğan), “Kovanoz: Sonsuz Bir Emek” (Dir. Tufan Yıldız), and “Körebe” (Dir. Yağmur Kaya). All cinema enthusiasts are invited to join this three-day celebration of film. |
