Is there an unforgettable memory in the Kültür part of your life? I happily remember the text that the student who came to me as a candidate wrote during the orientation day when the classes started, while I was working on the university preference days in my first year. In order to get to know all the students, the lecturer of the course asked them to write down why and how they chose the department. A student's mention of my name in the text caught the attention of our teacher and came to me. I was very happy when I saw that the student wrote that I also contributed to the process of choosing our university and department 😃. Now that student is graduating with great joy. Creating a positive impact on many students like that student, both at the beginning and in their education life, always remains an unforgettable memory for me. The world is going through a difficult period. How did you spend the pandemic process? What has this process changed in your life? The pandemic has reminded us once again that human beings can adapt to all conditions, and that the most important thing is health. I had the difficulty of being both an educator and a student during the pandemic process. On the one hand, I was in the course period of my doctoral education and could experience the difficulty of online education. In this process, many of our habits have changed. Digitalization has taken a central place in our lives. For example, it gave us the opportunity to experience different ways of coming together. National or international webinars, congresses and digital resources have removed the physical limits of accessing information and have been useful in this process We have been seperated from our work environment for a long time. What are your thoughts on the new normal these days when our settlements are starting to open? I think that cleaning, hygiene and a certain level of digitalization will not lose their importance in the new normal. I miss my university so much. I hope we can experience the peace of being together with our students, lecturers and friends on our campuses again in the near future. |
