The 29th International Architecture and Life Congress, organized by the Bursa Branch of the Chamber of Architects under the Turkish Chamber of Engineers and Architects (TMMOB), was held in Bursa from April 24–26, 2026. Held under the theme “The Future of Life, Cities, and Architecture,” the congress aimed to provide an interdisciplinary platform addressing current transformations in cities, architecture, and the built environment from environmental, social, and technological perspectives. Prof. Dr. Neslihan Dostoğlu, a faculty member in the Department of Architecture at the Faculty of Architecture and session chair at the congress, presented the paper titled “From Traditional Arab Dwellings in the Middle East to a New Biophilic Design Approach” together with master’s student Duaa A.L. Almadhoun. The study, developed for publication in the conference proceedings, was submitted last week. It is scheduled to be published soon. |
