Members of the Board of Directors of the Women at Work association which has been operating since 2015 with the aim of supporting women's employment and encouraging studies in this field met with the Rectorate of our University on Friday, January 12. Members of the association visited Prof. Dr. Burcu Yavuz Tiftikçigil, our Vice Rector responsible for Educational Activities, International Relations and University Event processesone & one of our faculty members from the Department of Economics of the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, and exchanged ideas on women and gender-based project collaborations with our university.

Our Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Burcu Yavuz Tiftikçigil contributed as a guest speaker to the filming, which was held on January 17, 2024, hosted by our university, within the scope of the "Social Sciences Project for Sustainable Education - ARETE" led by Assoc. Prof. Hüseyin Sami Öztürk, a faculty member of Marmara University Department of Ancient History.

Lecturers Assoc. Prof. Emre Erten from the Department of Ancient Languages and Cultures at Istanbul University, Prof. Dr. Ferit Baz from the Department of Ancient History at Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hüseyin Sami Öztürk from the Department of Ancient History at Marmara University also participated in the filming as speakers.

Within the scope of the project, a shooting will be held on January 24, 2024, with Prof. Dr. Ayhan Usta, one of our faculty members of the Department of Architecture, as a guest speaker.

An event titled "PDU Talk: How to Teach Pronunciation in an EFL context" will be organized by the Department of Foreign Languages in order to share ideas and experiences about education-training methods. The event, where lecturer Hüseyin Can, one of our academicians from the Department of Foreign Languages will be the speaker, will be held on Wednesday, January 24, at 13.30, in Bahçelievler campus classroom number 605.
