A new study has been added to our works carried out in line with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) with the vision of a sustainable future. The activities carried out throughout the year, the outputs achieved, and the collaborations established with stakeholders are now available in the 2024 report!

The report, which includes more than 850 activities carried out in line with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, the current rankings of our university in international indices such as THE Impact Rankings, UI GreenMetric, SCImago, 84 academic publications on sustainability developed with the contribution of academic units and research centers, SDG-focused course contents integrated into the curriculum, can be accessed from the Reports and Publications tab on the Sustainable Development Center (IKU SÜRKAM) website.

Sustainability Equals Kültür!

The poster presentations and evaluations of the thesis projects carried out by the senior students of the Department of Molecular Biology and Genetics (MOBIGEN), as part of the courses “MBG7002 Senior Project I” and “MBG8002 Senior Project II” taken in the 7th and 8th semesters, were held on Wednesday, June 11, 2025, between 11:00 and 16:00 at InnSide in the Ataköy building of the Bakırköy campus.

Following the presentations, a graduation cake was cut with the participation of our Dean of the Faculty of Science and Letters, Prof. Dr. Ömür Ceylan, and IKU pins were presented to the students.

We congratulate our students on completing this significant milestone and wish them success in their future careers.

The "Alumni Panel" event, organized by the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, was held on Wednesday, June 11, 2025, at the multi-purpose hall on the 1st floor of the Ataköy building, Bakırköy Campus, with the participation of faculty members, alumni, and prospective graduates.

The fashion show of the designs prepared by the Program of Fashion Design, in collaboration with the IKU Fashion Club and Acar Kids, will be held on Monday, June 16 at 13:00 in the Önder Öztunalı Conference Hall in the Ataköy building of the Bakırköy campus. Before the fashion show, the clothing design products prepared by the Program of Fashion Design graduation students, in accordance with the theme of “In Pursuit of Culture – ESSENCE,” will be exhibited at IKUSAG.

The "Engineering the Future: Next Generation Technologies and Smart Integrated Systems Workshop" will be organized by the IKU Technology Transfer Office (TTO) with the aim of strengthening university–industry cooperation, increasing knowledge sharing, and creating national and international project opportunities. The event, which will be held on Tuesday, June 17 between 13:30–16:30, will be hosted by InnSide in the Ataköy building of the Bakırköy campus.

The Physical and Natural Sciences Advanced Research Center (IKU-SPECTRA) will organize a meeting titled "Collaboration for Innovation" to introduce the center’s research vision and infrastructure, and to lay the groundwork for the development of potential collaborations by enhancing university-industry interaction. Registration is required to attend the event to be held on Wednesday, June 18, between 13:30 and 16:30, at the Önder Öztunalı Conference Hall.
