Within the scope of the cooperation between the Department of Educational Sciences and Demirören Media Group; Dean of the Faculty of Education Prof. Dr. Alim Kaya and Deputy Dean Assist. Prof. Meryem Demir Güdül came together with media professionals working in the disaster area. At the meeting held on May 2, 2023, media professionals shared their experiences in the earthquake zone. Necessary psychosocial support needs were determined and the activities to be carried out for these needs were planned.

Assoc. Dr. Reyhan Uludağ Eraslan, Head of our Department of Art and Culture Management, took part as a guest artist in the workshop organized by Kalkandere Culture and Solidarity Association within the scope of the project "Thousands of Years of Heritage of the Black Sea, Keşan Weavings". At the end of the workshop, the exhibition, including the work of our lecturer, was visited at Çay Bazaar between May 27-31.

A trip to TÜYAP was organized within the scope of the "Fair Management" and "International Fair Management" courses given by Dr. Anıl Ural, one of the academicians of the Department of International Trade and Finance. 

A workshop on "Architectural Photography and Perspective", which is a part of the doctoral thesis of Res. Assist. Feyza Nur Dişkaya, a Ph.D. student at Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University, the Department of Interior Architecture, co-advised by Assist. Prof. Aliye Rahşan Karabetça, a faculty member of the Faculty of Architecture, the Department of Interior Architecture and Environmental Design, was held on May 31, 2023, with the participation of students from Istanbul Kültür University and Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University. The workshop carried out with the support of Canon, is an 'intersection point' study on vision, and the results of the experience-oriented study will be tested with the eye-tracking device and will form the main data source of the thesis study.

Assist. Prof. Aliye Rahşan Karabetça, a faculty member of the Department of Interior Architecture and Environmental Design, held a seminar and workshop titled "Biomimetic Design Approach in Interior Architecture-an Introductory Lecture and Workshop" at the Faculty of Design at the University of Ecology and Management in Warsaw, the capital city of Poland, in May within the scope of Erasmus+ Staff Teaching Mobility.

A book titled "The Fundamentals of Civil Aviation Management" which includes a chapter titled "Unmanned Aerial Vehicles" by Lect. Evren Yılmaz, one of the academics from the Program of Flight Operations Management, has been published.

The book is a useful resource for university and high school students who are interested in aviation, and academics working in aviation programs.

Kültür Point Alumni Relations Specialist Assist. Kadir Akhan met with DHL Freight HR Director Gözde Tokmakoğlu Şat and Country Customer Services Manager Onur Özgüvenir to strengthen alumni relations, support alumni students in their career paths and find new connections, at the company's newly opened head office. During the meeting, strong future-oriented cooperation was discussed. Poster presentations of the thesis studies carried out by the students within the scope of "MBG 7002 Graduation Project I" and "MBG 8002 Graduation Project II" courses will be made by the Department of Molecular Biology and Genetics (MOBIGEN). The event will be held on Wednesday, June 14, between 11:00 and 17:00, at the MOBIGEN building in the backyard of Ataköy campus.

A workshop brought to the agenda by Head of the Department of Turkish Language and Literature, Prof. Dr. M. Fatih Köksal, will be held to introduce the “Systematic Classification of Poetry Magazines Project (MESTAP)” and to explain how the database works. Önder Öztunalı Conference Hall will host the event to be held on Thursday, June 15th between 09.00-12.00 and Erdal İnönü Seminar Hall between 12.00-17.00.

"Department of Nursing Lighting and Oath Ceremony" will be held in order to make the 4th grade students of the Department of Nursing read the "Nursing Oath" before graduation and to convey the light of Florence Nightingale, who has become the symbol of the nursing profession, The event, where Prof. Dr. Türkinaz Aştı from Bezmialem University will be the speaker and the Orchestra IKU Acoustic Concert Group will take the stage, will be held on Thursday, June 15 at 13.00 at the Önder Öztunalı Conference Hall.

In cooperation with the Department of Foreign Languages ​​and the Professional Development Unit, a "Breathing Exercise" event will be organized for the lecturers working in the Department of Foreign Languages. The training, which will be given by Yoga Instructor Duygu Bakı, will be held on Thursday, June 15th at 14.00 on Microsoft Teams.
