The first session of the "Social Media School" program, implemented by the Design Factory operating within Istanbul Kültür University, was successfully held. During the program's opening week, Simla Canpolat, known for her work on strategy and brand language in social media, was a guest at our university. In the session titled "Thinking Like a Brand: Strategy and Identity in Social Media" the importance of creating a sustainable language on social media, combining creative production with a strategic perspective, and correctly positioning brand identity in the digital realm were discussed. Following the presentation, the event continued in a question-and-answer format, allowing students to directly benefit from Simla Canpolat's agency experiences, content production processes, and perspective on brand management. The highly interactive session attracted significant interest from the participants. |
