Buket Atila, one of our students in the Department of Architecture, came first in the "Smart Cities" category of the poster design competition titled "Livable Cities" organized by the Netherlands Consulate General of Istanbul and BASE. Competition open to all 3rd and 4th year students studying in the Faculty of Graphic Design, Visual Communication Design, Architecture and Fine Arts organized under the theme of "Livable Cities". It is expected from the candidates to choose one of the topics of “A Smart and Green City (mobility, environment)”, “A Durable City (water resources, adaptable to climate changes, sports) ” and “An Open and Creative City (cultural diversity, inclusion, art, creative industries)”, and present the designs they prepared. Our student Buket Atila won the first prize in the “Smart Cities” category with her design. Attending the reception held at Netherlands Consulate General of Istanbul on Friday, February 28, 2020, Atila received the award from the Netherlands Consul General. |
