Program Objectives

The curriculum attempts to enrich interior architect candidates to design spaces by improving productivity and the quality of life. Through the curriculum, it is accepted to have an interactive medium for holistic view between different disciplines. The undergraduate curriculum is cognizant of modern trends as well.
ANATOLIA is a medium for field study in all design works since it has great historical background with cultural diversity and cultural heritage. It also offers an incredible environment with recent developments. Therefore, it offers an outstanding area for interior architecture students who aim to face different cultures, values and civilizations. It also provides to be in co-operation with international design programs. This provides a base to the structure of the design project topics where different historical/recently developed/modern sites are studied together with contemporary issues.

The structure of the undergraduate curriculum  is developed according to the professional standards for an interior designer which are defined by CIDA (Council for Interior Design Accreditation).

According to CIDA (Council for Interior Design Accreditation), the responsibilities of the interior designer encompass all spaces within environments built for human habitation. Educational philosophies and goals should be applied in the development of a creative professional who can analyze problems from many different perspectives and synthesize information.
