Istanbul Kültür University takes education as a lifelong experience. Alongside the academic steps from associate degree to doctorate, IKU also gives training and counseling through its Academic Centers to meet the needs of the society. Academic education is carried out on three campuses located at Şirinevler, Ataköy and İncirli. The lecture rooms, studios, seminar halls and labs are all designed for better, more beneficial educational practices. All three campuses have their own libraries to support the students with their courses and research activities. Istanbul Kültür University has 7021 students in its 5 faculties, 19 departments, 13 programs in its 2 vocational schools, 3 PhD and 28 postgraduate programs in 2007-2008. These students are taught by 372 full-time and 250 part-time staff members, making a total of 622. Our university’s student/instructor ratio is 10. The courses and activities are held within small groups, making sure that every single student has an active role.
